Cost Accountant

Your main responsibilities

• Calibrate product costs and update standard cost in quotation management systems .
• Non-standard product options price quotation support for sales
• Track and report actual product cost development.
• Conduct timely cost analysis and provide leads to cost efficiency optimization.
• Assess and validate cost saving projects.
• Control purchase price and validate price inflation.
• Analysis of bills of material & routings existing in cost system
• Evaluation of policies and procedures related to the cost accounting and reporting process.

Requirements

• Continuous learning mindset and capability of product knowhow pick-up.
• Experience using SAP with emphasis on product costing.
• Familiar with manufacturing operations and sourcing process.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-directed individual with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced excel capabilities.
• Ability to lead and influence others.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Accounting.

Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the manufacturing environment. This experience should include developing cost standards, Routings, Bill of Materials, cost roll ups.
